HABITAT:

NOTE/S:
flat shell up to 20cm sometimes more. Gray or greenish brown, red and yellow spots. Mainly carnivorous, eating from small invertebrates, amphibians, fish, even carrion. Prefers calm waters, tolerating very dirty or contaminated, and likes to sunbathe on the shores on rocks or logs. The implementation consists of 3 / 16 eggs elongated, hard cácara that places buried in soft soil. The young, between 2/3cm, have more vivid color and shape more rounded.
